GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer, a neural network machine learning model trained using internet data to generate any type of text. Developed by OpenAI, it requires a small amount of input text to generate large volumes of relevant and sophisticated machine-generated text. As you might know, OpenAI’s cofounder is Elon Musk and they are the leading platform for Generative AI models such as DALL·E 2 and Whisper just to name a few

Currently, Generative AI Text models are based on the GPT-3 platform. However, in the shadows, a small group of beta tester have access to the upcoming GPT-4 model and from what we can understand, the potential is exponentially mind-blowing. Some are mentioning the historically quantifying Turing test as a doable obstacle. In fact the CEO Sam Altman of Open AI tweeted this not so cryptic meme:
