The DC Council has approved an amendment to draft the first “Comprehensive Public Safety Plan”. This amendment was proposed by Councilmember Trayon White and approved by Councilmember Pinto. The plan will establish an agenda and expectations for public safety. To help create the plan, three surveys covering the principles of public safety have been created. These surveys are focused on Surveillance/Privacy, Court Systems, and Equity, and each survey contains 12 questions. As a participant, you are encouraged to add a comment that will be helpful for future participants to respond. You will receive a notification if additional questions are added for you to respond to.
