Scientist are making bold statements as of late in regards to human life expanctancy. I over heard an epidemiologist (study of the effects of drugs on the body) bold statements that human beings will be celebrating bicentennials within the next 50 years. Not sure if she meant the first 200 year old citizen will be born or there actually would be a 200 plus year old person chilling in at the office – I am sure the former. Nonetheless, one of her tenants to longer living – and what will soon define the have’s and have nots – is diet. Recently Mayor Bloomberg enforced his might be banning the sale of 2 liter soda and sugary drinks from pizza shops (and bars). In addition to the sucrose tonic, he also banned pitchers of beer.
