About a year ago I was posted up in the Catholic University Barnes and Nobel – one of the last bastions of brick and mortar book stores in Washington DC – and plucked the annual Forbes Billionaire Club periodical off the shelf.  I take special exception for afternoon fantasies on one day being mentioned among the intrepid global capitalist who lurk in the shadows and controls the global markets via clandestine networks all while rubbing elbows at Qatar sky scrappers fresh off the private jet.  But I digress.

After a casual flip through I laser focused to the United States section.  Of course, me being black (duh) I scanned the list to see which African Americans made the list.  Of course Oprah was there in full effect as well as Robert F. Smith whom I have heard of in conversations but never really sunk my teeth into.  From what I understand he takes money from that room…and moves it over to the other room.  Every time he makes that moves he charges a fee and doubles down.  Completely legal and to be honest we all need a weekly fireside chat with his peoples.

Behold! Michael Jordan is in the building.  Man that feels good to see people up on..cause I remember way, back in the day, a young grasshopper from my hometown Wilmington NC (don’t sleep) went from slept on to praised like a Omega Level Mutant.
