I finally had the time to watch “At All Cost”: Life Inside AAU Basketball featured as an origianl on Netflixwas released in January 2017. First, this is a must see if you have a child or relative who is a player on an AAU squad. Times have definiely changed and so has the definition of an “amateur” athlete. Within this document, we are told a narrative of how the lines have now blurred between a high school “professional” athlete and an athlete who literally has no authority over their own financial destiny while being flown from city to city playing in as many as 15 to 20 games a week.
